A critical vulnerability in Windows allows attackers to smuggle in any kind of malware to capture data or passwords. The latest Windows update will remedy this situation.
There is a security vulnerability in Windows 7 to 10 which has already been exploited by unidentified attackers worldwide. It will potentially be possible to install and execute malware this way, which in extreme cases would allow attackers to take control of a device, copy or delete data or read user passwords, too.
Microsoft is providing an update within the scope of their “patch day” on Tuesday which will fix the vulnerability. This should be installed on all Windows devices as soon as possible.
